In early April, we successfully completed and commissioned the installation of a Capstone C65 (65 kWe) biogas microturbine at the municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Jastrzębie‑Zdrój, Poland. The project also featured the integration of a heat exchanger to maximize the overall energy efficiency of the system.

At the end of August, and right on schedule, we successfully commissioned the first of three planned Capstone C65 microturbines on the grounds of a leading paper products manufacturer. This innovative microturbine is powered by LPG and brings revolutionary changes to operations at the paper plant.

In July, we successfully commissioned a new 65 kWe Capstone Microturbine on the grounds of our new customer, TotalEnergies, which is located in the Czech city of Kouřim. The microturbine produces electricity, while efficiently utilizing waste heat from the microturbine's flue gas in the burner of the onsite steam boiler. This innovative system significantly contributes to a reduction in natural gas consumption, thereby increasing the company’s return on investment and improving sustainability of its operations.

We are happy to announce that we have just put a new Capstone C65 #microturbine into commission at the Depos Horni Sucha landfill site in the Czech Republic. The microturbine is powered by #biogas, with the electricity it produces supplied to the grid and the heat from the #FlueGas used to heat the biogas plant, as well as dry up water at the landfill.

We are pleased to announce that we have concluded a major contract for the supply of a CAPSTONE C65 Microturbine, together with an advanced fuel management and control system. The microturbine will supply electricity and heat, in the form of flue gas, to a machine at a paper plant. 

A conference was held in Poland at the end of March 2024, where IVITAS GREEN POWER Director, Petr Machej, provided details on our Capstone C65 microturbine with gas pack and heat exchanger that was installed and commissioned in December 2023 at Wojewódzki Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji in the Polish city of Drzonków.

Topics covered in his presentation included utilization of Capstone microturbines in biogas plants, the differences between piston engines and microturbines for Combined Heat and Power (CHP), and the future development of microturbines that use biomethane as a fuel, among others.

We’ll be taking deep dives into the unique ways CAPSTONE Microturbines can become an efficient and reliable part of cogeneration processes that are normally not feasible for piston engines.

In mid-March 2023, we secured a building permit for the installation of CAPSTONE microturbines (electricity output of 3 x 65 kW) on the grounds of a paper product manufacturer for the food and machinery industries.

We entered into an agreement (effective from 1 July 2022) with our new customer, Depos Horni Sucha, to provide service for their 3 x 65 kWe CAPSTONE microturbines.

In cooperation with our parent company IVITAS, we’ve started work on project documentation for the issuance of a building permit for a new installation of three CAPSTONE microturbines with an output of 3 x 65 kWe.

In accordance with the terms of a recently concluded service contract with our client WEPPLER FILTER, we performed the planned overhaul of a CAPSTONE C200 turbine with an electrical output of 200 kW. The turbine is located on the premises of WEPPLER FILTER. 

We've concluded our first long-term service contract for CAPSTONE microturbines in the Czech Republic.
